The "Straight Trend V1" strategy employs a unique approach by using the opening price of a specified timeline to establish a reference. A trend line is drawn to the current price and then smoothed using the Donchian channel method, utilizing the highest and lowest values to reduce noise and false signals. The trend line forms a price channel based on the time-based opening price. This strategy generates BUY/SELL signals by comparing the closing price direction with the channel. The inverse channel line acts as a STOP LOSS and a signal to change direction. Settings allow for customization of Take Profit percentages and the strategy shows increased effectiveness with Heikin-Ashi bars. Enhancements include a multi-tiered Take Profit section for strategic exits.
