Strategy Myth-Busting #23 employs dual Exponential Moving Averages (40-long and 12-fast) and the Detrended Price Oscillator (DPO) to discern trade entries. Long positions are signaled by the fast EMA crossing above the slow EMA, and short positions when it crosses below. The DPO confirms the trade by assessing price cycles. Trades are executed on 1 to 4-hour candles, with stop losses set at the latest extreme high or low and a 2 to 2.5 times profit-to-risk ratio.
