How does the Big Snapper Alerts R3.0 + Chaiking Volatility condition + TP RSI strategy work ?
The Big Snapper Alerts R3.0 + Chaiking Volatility condition + TP RSI strategy is a comprehensive trading system incorporating multiple technical conditions to confirm trading signals. Initially based on JustUncleL's Big Snapper script, it uses a three-part process to define a long or short signal.
- Signal Generation: The strategy utilizes a buffer to temporarily store potential long or short signals from the Big Snapper. Along with being above or below a 55-period moving average (MA_medium), it evaluates a confirmed trend through the Chaikin Volatility indicator, which measures current volatility against the last ten periods. This helps in predicting increased price movements if current volatility is higher.
- Stop Loss (SL) Setting: The strategy defines the Stop Loss level based on the sizes of the recent candle. The SL is set below 70% of the current candle's total range, which aligns with certain Fibonacci levels, indicating a logical exit point.
- Take Profit (TP) Condition: It employs an RSI-based strategy for the Take Profit condition, triggering a sell when the RSI falls from an overbought territory back to a predefined level (63.5 in this case).
Arrow signals appear on the chart for potential entry points, with the Stop Loss and entry levels displayed immediately. The Take Profit condition, however, is contingent upon the RSI indicator's readings. Various release notes reflect enhancements to make the strategy more responsive and profitable, such as adjusting the stop loss levels for improved returns, and optimizing volatility and RSI settings for better outcomes.
