How does the TradePro's 2 EMA + Stoch RSI + ATR Strategy strategy work ?
The TradePro's 2 EMA + Stoch RSI + ATR Strategy utilizes a combination of exponential moving averages (EMAs), Stochastic RSI, and the Average True Range (ATR) to determine entry points for long and short trades. It operates based on the following criteria:
- Long Entry: Triggered when the 50 EMA is above the 200 EMA, price closes below the 50 EMA, Stochastic RSI is oversold (< 20), and there's a bullish Stochastic RSI cross with a higher low than the previous cross.
- Short Entry: Occurs when the 50 EMA is below the 200 EMA, price closes above the 50 EMA, Stochastic RSI is overbought (> 80), and there's a bearish Stochastic RSI cross with a lower high than the previous cross.
The strategy employs an ATR-based stop-loss to manage risk and sets the take-profit level at twice the risk amount. Both entries and stop levels can be tuned by adjusting the strategy's configurable parameters for a more personalized trading approach.
